Severe dental pain, a knocked-out tooth – Associates In Dentistry knows there are times when you can’t wait for a regular appointment. That’s why we do our best to provide emergency dental services. At times, it may be necessary for you to see a dentist right away. Call us first thing in the morning or as soon as the injury occurs. We will attempt to see you the same day of the emergency or call. Our regular patients will receive first priority; however, we try to accommodate everyone.
Here are a few of the most common dental emergencies:
Time is of the essence with this emergency. Your best chance of saving the tooth is to receive treatment within an hour. Do not touch the root! If you can carefully replace the tooth back into its socket, do so, and then call us immediately.
Dental emergencies can crop up at any time, but by maintaining a regular schedule of cleanings and checkups, you can often reduce the chances of a sudden issue occurring. Of course, an injury such as a knocked-out tooth can happen at any time. If you don’t already have a regular dentist familiar with your case, it’s best to establish regular care before an emergency occurs. But if you are experiencing a true dental emergency and have not seen us before, we will do our very best to help you.
