Dr. Rrushaj is excited to be practicing at the Elmwood and Peoria offices. He is a local guy having grown up in Pekin. Before pursuing dental school, he graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree and Rush University with a Master of Science degree. Along the way, he got the opportunity to work and become a Certified Dental Technician (CDT). Then went on to receive his Dental degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Rrushaj currently resides in Pekin with his wife Mereme and their son, Orik.
When not practicing dentistry, his other interests include fishing, hiking, jogging, and spending time with his family and at their family restaurant in Pekin. He is determined to provide comprehensive dental care with the understanding that as a dental healthcare provider, you must keep up on new techniques and technologies. He is interested in attending continuing education courses related to implant, restorative and cosmetic dentistry among other areas in the dental field. Evidence-based dentistry is an important concept to him, in terms of making clinical decisions based on the latest dental research. He enjoys practicing in the Peoria area and serving the wonderful people of central Illinois for many years to come.
