If you require emergency dental care in Peoria IL, Associates In Dentistry is here to help. We have nine dentists in five locations and more than 40 professional and support staff. Our regular patients always receive top priority, but if you’re having a dental emergency we will do our best to get you in.
A knocked-out permanent tooth is one of the most time-sensitive dental emergencies. Call us right away at 309-690-4500. While waiting, submerge the tooth in milk, as this can help preserve it. Milk contains sugars and proteins that can help keep the tooth alive until you can get to us. When placing the tooth in the container of milk, make certain you touch only the crown, not the root. Not every such tooth can be saved, but we will do our best.
Among the common dental emergencies are:
If a dental emergency occurs when our office is closed, you should either call your dentist at home or go straight to the emergency room.
This predicament is a good reason why it’s best not to wait until you have an emergency to start looking for a dentist. If you do not already have a regular dentist, we can help. Come in for an exam and cleaning. If it’s been several years since you’ve received dental care, it’s entirely possible that you may require treatment for cavities or other issues. Remember, no dental problem improves by being left alone, so the sooner you come in and have an exam, the better.
Associates In Dentistry isn’t just here for emergency services. We also offer all the dental services you expect from a full-service dentist, including:
We work with more than 150 different insurance plans so there’s a good chance we take yours, too. Give us a call and we’ll let you know.
We will see patients with or without dental insurance. All patients are charged the same fees for the same procedures regardless of whether they have insurance. If you require extensive treatments, we will estimate the expected cost and what portion we expect your insurance will cover. Ultimately, the patient will be responsible for covering all fees, regardless of insurance coverage. We charge an 18 percent per year service charge on any balance remaining after 30 days. We do not accept the Illinois Public Aid card or Medicaid.
To make paying your bill as convenient as possible, we now offer an online payment option.
