Michelle Horst, DDS

Dr. Michelle Horst cares for patients of all ages in Peoria and is the main doctor for sleep and airway treatment at Associates in Dentistry. She also has a particular focus on children and patients who feel anxious about dental visits.

Before dental school, she provided applied behavioral therapy for children on the autism spectrum and for anxious patients. That experience shaped how she approaches patients who may need extra time or a different approach during their dental care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

Patients often mention how compassionate and thorough she is, and how well she keeps them informed about their care.

Outside the office, Dr. Horst spends time with her husband and three young children. They enjoy swimming and hiking together. She also completed the Chicago Marathon with minimal training.
