Derek Grzanich, DDS
Taking his cue from sports, Dr. Grzanich brings a very active and fresh approach to his practice. His enthusiasm for dentistry is evident in the new technologies and procedures he learns through continuing education.
Dr. Grzanich received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Bradley University in 2001. He went on to study at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. While in school, Dr. Grzanich was very active in local and national dental associations including the American Student Dental Association where he served as local chapter president, was selected Region 7 delegate of the year in the national organization, and was appointed Secretary of the ASDA Delegation to the American Dental Association’s House of Delegates.
Upon graduation, Dr. Grzanich returned to the Peoria area and set up his practice at Associates in Dentistry. He has received additional training in cosmetic orthodontia, is Invisalign certified, and is currently working additional certification in dental implants. Dr. Grzanich is also interested in several other aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Grzanich enjoys spending time with his wife Tracey and son Owen, golfing, traveling, exercising, gardening, visiting with friends and family, and looking after his saltwater aquarium.
